Château d'Amboise

The Château d’Amboise still has its raised position, just like in the Middle Ages, meant to watch over the Loire valley. The Renaissance has also left some traces, as the old fort has been refined to become an elegant royal residence, which decorated front reflects in the water of the Loire. From the balconies and the gardens planted in terraces, you’ll have an amzing view on the landscapes of the Loire. The gardens of the Château d'Amboise are of great importance. Since 2017, the castle’s first garden, the Naples garden from the 15th century, was restored and put back into a balcony position, looking out over the town.
